Seven Sisters '06
A walk that began a little late and ended up taking us walking well into the night. It was dark and slippy and yes, we were a little lost.
HK '04 - A Saturday in HonKers
They were crazy times - trams, buying pants from a vending machine, trying horrible ice creams, being weightless in the space museum, causing havoc in the 3 shop and a healthy dose of choi su fan topped off with tea. Deelish days.
HK '04 - All Hallows
A selection of pretty lame pictures from a night in Lan Kwai Fong where people were dressed as monsters and the like. Scary.
HK '04 - Aberdeen
I don't really get why they call it Aberdeen, it's not very Scottish. It was a very romantic day though and we had a lovely boat ride. Mantic.
HK '04 - China: Anshun & Xi'an
With school over and a few more days left in the east, we thought it might be an idea to pop over to China, one last time, first to Anshun, and then to Xi'an. We flew on some ridiculously small planes that were very scary and climbed some very high and icy mountains. Xi'an was a bit of a let down really - I wouldn't bother with those terracotta dudes; they were exactly as they look in the pictures. Unfortunately we missed our plane on the way back due to some terrible misguidance from Shenzhen Airways - avoid at all costs!
HK '04 - Monkey Mountain
Oddly enough, this mountain between Kowloon and the New Territories does exactly what it says on the tin. There's a mountain, and on it are lots of monkeys. They surround you and get very excited. We got scared and ran away.
HK '04 - Sai Kung
Located in the New Territories in HK, Sai Kung is an amazing place to go to get away from the bustle of the city. There are some completely secluded and empty beaches which even have clean water. Bonus.
HK '04 - Yangshuo
If you were to go to one place in China - Yangshuo should be it. It's located near Guilin in the Guangxi Province. It's a tourist town which actually has its advantages when trying to organise rafting, fishing, biking or a mud bath! It's a beautiful place - just watch out you're not eating dog.
HK '04 - Tai Mo Shan
Tai Mo Shan is a country park and the name of HK's highest peak in the New Territories. From the mountain you can see across the valley into China. Unfortunately, due to security restrictions, you can't actually get to the top of the mountain. That was disappointing.
