<p>It&#8217;s not often that I get to go on a walk. Bearing that in mind, it probably wasn&#8217;t a particularly wise idea to do this one. </p>
<p>But then again, if we hadn&#8217;t, we wouldn&#8217;t have enjoyed all the adventures along the way; Running out of petrol on the motorway; Pitching the tent in the rain at 3am; Chinese takeaway on a rainy street corner; A ride home from the pub with the landlord; Romantic G&#038;T&#8217;s by headlamp; And of course big, fat, blisters.</p>
